  • Essential Christmas Day Wine Collection

    Antoine de Clevecy, Champagne
A crisp, well balanced champagne with citrus hints on the nose overlaid with touches of brioche and yeastiness. The palate is fresh, clean and lively with a creamy mousse and long finish.
Perfect to start the big day with, a touch of indulgence which is perfect for a smoked salmon breakfast.

Laurent Chardigny, Macon Village - Burgundy
This is a medium gold wine, with an aroma of green apples, citrus, supported by floral and mineral notes, all of which are balanced on the palate with a mineral finish.
White Burgundy is a great wine to begin the main event with, perfectly matched with shell fish/Salmon starters.

    Deloach, Pinot Noir
This is a rather fragrant medium-bodied wine with red berry and blackcurrant aromas and a clean and consistent fruity Pinot Noir appeal on the palate. Smooth and very satisfying!
For a big bird, turkey is very lean. So you need a lighter red with subtle tannins and smooth structure. This pinot really does fit the bill, do your turkey justice!

Chateau du Bos, Graves - Bordeaux
Harmonious and prominent aromas of dark fruit and liquorice plus a complex hint of tobacco. This wine has flavours of prunes and ripe fruit with a superb balance between supple sensations and silky tannins.
Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without a good Bordeaux.

    Domaine Durban, Beaumes de Venise
Apricot, peach, Seville orange and ripe pear come to mind when sampling this exemplary dessert wine.
Serve this ice cold with your Christmas pudding and you will be rewarded. The sensations of hot and cold along with the deep flavors of the pud are just amazing.

    Vista Alegre, Fine Ruby Port
Its aromatic characteristics are similar to that of the vintage due to the potency of its
dominant and dense fruit, revealing incredibly ripe aromas of dried plum, fig, blackberry,
raspberry and cherry.
It will take your Cheese board to a whole new level, just don’t expect the bottle to last very long! Extremely morish.

Get all six of these chosen Christmas Day wines for one great price, plus, just because it’s Christmas we’re giving you a bottle of Prosecco for FREE!
